Planting Consultation

We offer a planting consultation service where you may not need a full garden design, to help you create beautiful borders or find simple solutions for those difficult to manage areas. We firmly believe that the right plant in the right place will make your garden flourish. If selecting plants and knowing how to care for them is daunting, or if you are unsure of how to put plant combinations together, our consultations can do it with you. We can also project manage the creation and/or planting of your new borders.

With our friendly horticultural expertise you’ll avoid costly mistakes, save time, and enjoy a planting scheme that’s practical, beautiful, and ready to thrive.

Take the guesswork out of planting and create a garden that thrives with expert guidance from our highly experienced garden design team.

We’ll start with a site visit, where we:

• Walk through your garden together to discuss goals and planting possibilities
• Advise on border sizes, layout ideas, screening, and any tricky areas
• Note any soil improvement or irrigation needs (with follow-up guidance emailed afterwards)

The next step: a visit to the nursery to select plants suited to your space, soil, and the environment. This ensures you get expert-led choices that thrive in your garden.

Once your plants are chosen, we’ll provide advice on planting layout here at the nurseries which gives you a clear, practical guide for planting focussed on stock you have chosen with us.

Projects may be delivered in two phases:

1. Preparation & planning (site visit + soil/irrigation guidance)
2. Plant selection & plant layout advise (once borders are ready and stock is in season)
